DR CHRIS PEARSON BA VetMB MRCVS

Hello, my name is Chris and I have worked in the NorthSomerset area as a vet since 1990. I want to ensure that your pet receives the best healthcare available and I fully endorse the Wellpets ethos of routine health screening. Early diagnosis prolongs lives.

I look forward to meeting you and your 'family' of animals and hope that we have a long and happy relationship doing what we do best.

DR GABRIEL CHIDA MRCVS

Hi, I am Gabriel, I have been in small animal pracrice for over 7 years and nothing gives me more satisfaction than working with animals.  Unlike many other professions I think being a vet is like a way of life.  I can't say I am going to work, I think wherever I am I'm still a vet, so feel free to talk to me about your animals wherever we meet.  Surgery is my passion and i am currently working towards a Post Graduate Qualification in Small Animal Surgery.

Veterinary Nurse

JOANNA FERGUSON V.N

My name is Joanna Ferguson, I am a qualified Veterinary Nurse working at the Wellpets clinics in the Weston-Super-Mare area. I have been a Veterinary Nurse for 13 years and have enjoyed working in various areas inculding emergency care, exotics, equine and farm, canine hydrotherapy and small animal practice. At the moment I have two English Cocker Spaniels called "Oliver" and "Kimmie" but in the past have also owned horses, cats, a chinchilla and tropical fish.

I love caring for my pets and enjoy extending that care to other peoples pets who are part of their family.

Veterinary Nurse

         tamsin

TAMSIN FERRIS

My name is Tamsin. I was born in Bristol but raised in Devon and moved back up to Weston-Super-Mare when I was about 6, and have been here ever since! I have 3 cats, "Felix", "Misha" and "Minty", although I would love to have a dog but am not at home enough at the moment. I love my friends, travelling, reading and music, my most exciting experience so far has to be when I sky-dived for a children's charity last year - absolutely amazing!

Why do I come to work every morning?

It it's hard to understand how an animal feels, they can't tell you where it hurts like people can. I come to work to play a part in the cat or dog getting better- animals can't say thank you but nothing beats a happy dog's waggy tail!!!

Veterinary Nurse

RACHEL ROBERTS

Hi, I'm Rachel. I've been a nurse for three and a half years. I am currently working towards my NVQ3 in veterinary nursing. I am owned by a little cheeky ginger and white cat called Maddie who loves nothing better than a big plate of tuna and the prime spot on the sofa!!During my spare time I enjoy dining out, socializing with friends and watching live entertainment. My mission statement:

Ever since I can remember, being an animal lover defines who I am. Veterinary medicine has always fascinated me and captured my attention. Having the opportunity to work for Wellpets, and being able to promote pet health and healing has fulfilled an ambition and enables me to feel proud about what I do.

Receptionist

JESS

Hi, I'm Jess and I started working at Wellpets in 2008. I have always been an animal orientated person, and hoped to work in the animal care industry. With my background in administration and sales, Veterinary Receptionist is an ideal role for me and one which i enjoy.

At home I have a Jack Russell called Lady who came from the RSPCA. She used to be completely mad and lively but now sleeps for most of the day as she is about 18 years old. I also have a horse called Star and spend as much time as possible with him when I am not working.
